Denise’s Story Part 2

My Mom

Mothers, they have to make choices in their lifetime. The choices might not be easy to make, but they have to make them. Raising a child is very frustrating at times, but it is rewarding. Mothers have to clean, feed, clothe, love, take care of their children when they are sick, and protect them throughout life. When that child gets older, mothers can back off a little to let them grow. The child will learn to do things for themselves. That is a normal life style for all mothers. When a mother has a handicapped child who needs more attention, lots of care, and extra love, what does a mother do? When that child can’t take care, talk or walk for themselves, a mother’s responsibility increases. How does a mother cope when her own child falls on top of her when she was trying to get her up off the floor?
