Adult Day Activities
The Lehmann Center in Lakewood and the Schroth Center in Wanamassa offer adult day activities for adults with developmental and/or multiple physical disabilities.
Emphasis is placed on skills to enhance daily living and independence. Pre-vocational exploration opportunities are developed to meet the needs of the individual. Lift equipped vehicle transportation is available.2016-17 Adult Program Calendar
Transdisciplinary Services Available:
Comprehensive adult education, including adult basic education
Art and music
Therapy evaluation and group occupational, physical and speech therapy treatment
Access to diagnostic clinics and services
Assistive technology evaluation and training, including augmentative and alternative communication
Hearing and vision screenings; dental clinics
Personal assistant services
Recreation – community inclusion

Eligibility for Adult Activities:
Adults who have developmental and/or multiple physical disabilities are eligible for adult activities. Services require Medicaid eligibility and registration with the Division of Developmental Disabilities. Private Pay contracts are available on request.
Adult Vocational Programs
Monmouth and Ocean County Access Unlimited
LADACIN Network provides vocational training, a paid work program and job placement services for supported and competitive employment for adults with developmental and/or multiple physical disabilities.
Vocational and Prevocational Training – Emphasis is placed on secondary and post-secondary vocational training in the areas of office/computer skills, micrographics, food service, custodial/maintenance services and child care. Clients work along with Agency staff to develop skills in these areas.
Access Unlimited, an adjunct of the program, provides a work experience via contracts with firms in the business community. Bulk mailing and packaging services are also offered.

Eligibility for Vocational Services and Adult Training:
Adults who have developmental and/or multiple physical disabilities and demonstrate an interest in training geared toward pursuing a vocation. Services require Medicaid eligibility and registration with the Division of Developmental Disabilities. Private Pay contracts are available on request.
Applicants may also be registered with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
Supported Employment facilitates competitive work in integrated work settings for individuals with developmental and/or multiple physical disabilities for whom competitive employment traditionally has not been available, and who, because of the nature or severity of their disabilities, require ongoing support services to ensure job performance. Integral to LADACIN Network’s supported employment services is the assistance of representatives of the business community who provide information regarding needs of the community, leads for job placement, and advice in structuring job searches.
