Grainger Foundation Enhances Communication for Children and Adults

Many students and clients that attend LADACIN are non-verbal due to the nature of their disability. As you can imagine, the ability to communicate effectively opens up a new world for children and adults who have previously been unable to express themselves in meaningful ways. Several hundred people gathered at the Sheraton Eatontown on March 12th for LADACIN Network’s premier fundraising event, the Rosebud Gala. In addition to dining and dancing, the elegant evening included an award ceremony in which the Agency’s most prestigious partners are acknowledged.

Gold Medalist visits the Schroth School

On Thursday, October 15th Jersey Shore Native, 3-time Olympic gold medalist and 2-time World Cup champion came to visit the Schroth School for a fun soccer game with the kids and adults.

“I come here to be with the kids. To share the medals with them and get them excited and hopefully inspire them,” Christie said.

The staff was equally excited to see Christie again as she played goalie and did a parade around our school!
