Respite/Family Support

Family support services provide caretaking support for the person with developmental and/or multiple physical disabilities. Support services offer individuals and their families the ability to develop independence and self-sufficiency.

Self Hire Respite

This option provides stipends to families of children ages 0 to 21 with disabilities to enable them to choose and train their own respite provider. This allows families to define their own services and to develop flexible support networks within their community.

Time After Program (TAP) (Temporarily Suspended)

The TAP program offers adults therapeutic recreational activities with trained personal assistants after their regular day programming ends.  Approval from DDD is required to receive this service. Services are offered weekdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Schroth Adult and Lehmann Adult Programs. No transportation is provided for this program.
